Te Pūkenga is governed by a Council. A representative of our interim Staff and Learner Advisory Committees and Komiti Māori also sits on Council. Heath Sawyer, Jordan Gush and Dr Teorongonui Josie Keelan are the current representatives.

Together with Te Pūkenga, they must give effect to our Charter set out in the Education Act.

Te Pūkenga Council

Te Pūkenga is governed by a Council who is accountable to the Minister of Education. Its members are appointed in accordance with the Education and Training Act.
