Governance
Ko te kaitiaki o Te Pūkenga ko tōna Kaunihera, ā, ko te kaitiaki o ngā whakahaere āpiti 16 ko ō reira Poari Kaiārahi.

Te Pūkenga is governed by a Council. A representative of our interim Staff and Learner Advisory Committees and Komiti Māori also sits on Council. Heath Sawyer, Jordan Gush and Dr Teorongonui Josie Keelan are the current representatives.
Together with Te Pūkenga, they must give effect to our Charter set out in the Education Act.

Who informs our Council
Te Pūkenga’s Council is informed by five specialist boards and advisory committees.
Council meeting dates
Our Council meets every month. Members of the public are welcome to attend Council meetings. If you would like to attend, please email the Council Secretariat for login details.
